Presidential Debate Essay due Tuesday


In at least a 2 page typed essay break down the following aspects of the debate...

a) What do you think about McCain's earlier decision to stop campaigning? And how is this going to effect his campaign?

b) Breakdown 4 different issues and topics that are brought up during the debate. In separate paragraphs answer what each candidates position is? How they are different? How this issue affects you? And who you thought won this part of the debate?

c) In your last paragraph give me your opinion on the debate and your final thoughts.

Fox News Sunday 9/21

Money is on everyone's mind and Fox News is no different. Explain the bill that the Bush Administration is pushing through Congress and explain the importance it will have on Wall Street. Be Specific and include direct quotes from the show.

This Week 9/21


America is worried about the finicial situation on Wall Street and how this will affect most Americans. After watching this afternoon's show in 2 paragraphs outline the Administrations goals with this new bill and tell me at least 3 main steps this bill needs to pass before it becomes effective for our country.

This week on Face the Nation they sat down with Secretary of the Treasurey Henry Paulson and debated the importance of Congress approving the 700 billion dollar bailout of major banking institutions. Explain what the bill will accomplish and how we can avoid this "crash in the market". Be Specific and remeber you need 2 paragraphs

Meet the Press


The main topic of the afternoon dealt with the economy and how New York and Wall Street is handling this huge issue. In two paragraphs explain the efforts the government is playing in stabilizing the economy and give me 3 points that Bloomburg and Paulson brought up that will help America's economy get back on the right foot.
